Projects
The Outreach ministry has provided these outreach opportunties:
- Operation Christmas Child
- Waukee Area Christian Food Pantry
- Hope Ministiries
- Meadowlark Ministries— Support missionaries to the Forgotten Indian Tribe of Mexico
- Solider Care Packages for our own soliders participating in Operation Iraq Freedom
- Salvation Army breakfast casseroles
- Churches United Shelter Meals
- Heifer International
- C.R.O.P. Walk
- Habitat for Humanity—collected used denim to recycle into insulation
- Klothes for Kids—clothing donations are now being accepted for older youth and teenagers. Free clothing is availbalbe at the Waukee Area Christian Food Pantry. Drop off donations in the specially marked boxes in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Terri Jackson at (515) 834-2383 with questions.

Responsibilities
This ministry is responsible for:
- Education and congregational awareness of missions.
- Encourage congregational participation of outreach projects.
- Prepare the outreach budget.
- Promote concern and action on behalf of troubled individuals, society, and the environment.
- Coordinate special outreach offerings.
