Our Mission
In our service to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we strive to be faithful to the Lord's Table and Scripture.
Who We Are
Spiritual growth of all our members is a priority. We are a church that seeks to be a congregation of meaningful worship and outreach service as we commit our members to mission in the name of Jesus Christ. Believing and celebrating as people of the table, we assemble every week to break the loaf and share the cup. We are a family oriented church of diverse generations who maintains rich traditions while seeking out moderately progressive programming and worship. We strive to be a church with judicious and sustainable membership growth.
Decisions and Administration
Programming and administration in our church is congregationally focused. This is accomplished by selection of lay leaders by the congregation. The selected leadership works in partnership with pastoral staff to determine the operational and strategic commitments of the church by consensus. The congregation maintains oversight of these decisions.
Conflict
As an active and developing church with passion for our mission, conflict is inevitable. Conflict is managed through informative and loving discussion within appropriate groups so that information and consensus are allowed to prevail. Through conflict management we will remain positive and continue progression towards the Church Mission.
Finances
As a congregation committed to biblical principles we strive for tithing of congregational members. Offerings by members are part of a strong and loving relationship with Christ and we recognize that this relationship is a private matter. We are committed to responsible stewardship with a commitment to continued growth and mission of the church.
Vision
We will go where God leads us. By carrying out our strategy in pursuit of the our mission, we are inclined to become a moderately sized, suburban church with a strong emphasis on family membership. We strive to provide worship services which are uplifting and enlightening. We will continually seek opportunities for fellowship which strengthen relationships within our diverse congregation, and glorify God.
